Syn (son in Polish) combines contemplative melody lines, dub noir atmospheres, choir patterns reminding of 80's dystopia, deep bass pulses and 70 BPM rhythms with voices uttered by half-mechanical beings.
Twile shows signs of alchemistic attitude, being influenced by modern dub and electronica yet informed by genres like modern classical. In the title track he makes use of ethnic flavours, in the form of folksy violin and oriental synth mallet.
Stripped-down backgrounds provide space for Elisabeth Szwarc’s vocal expression moving from singing to spoken words, from creaky voice to whisper.
